Three kinds of time
Delivery, sales, and admin. If you do not block them, delivery eats the week and invoices go out late. Block them before you accept another meeting.

How long
Start with ninety minutes. A four-hour fantasy block will be broken and then you will say the method failed. Protect the ninety minutes as a meeting with yourself.
Meetings
Cluster meetings on two days if you can. A thirty-minute meeting in the middle of a delivery block costs the whole block. Say so when you decline.
Friday look
On Friday, look at the blocks you missed. Do not scold yourself. Move the work or drop it. A block you miss every week is a lie. Delete it.
